A modern design with elevated functionality, the Murphy 300 Watt Torchiere Lamp is a unique decorative accent to any room. A warm, antique brass finish is accented with a beautiful jewel toned green glass. A frosted glass shade houses two 150 Watt bulbs. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A clear cord comes neatly out of the square base. A simple 3-way rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This floor lamp is smart outlet compatible. Bulb is not included. NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL’s). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low setting flicker, but may still occur.
